🎊 Are Prague And Budapest Similar
Haveheard Prague and Budapest are very similar but hate to miss one of them. Like I mentioned, we are also visiting Prague, Vienna, Salzburg, Austria Lake area, Bavaria and Munich on this trip.
Iwould reduce Prague by another day and add it to Vienna. Frankly, I'm biased because Vienna is my favorite city. These are the travel times between the four cities by train: Vienna - Salzburg --- 2:30 Vienna - Budapest --- 2:40 Vienna - Prague --- 4:30 Budapest - Prague --- 7:00 Salzburg - Prague --- 5:30 Salzburg, Vienna and Budapest
Budapestwas one of our favorite cities in Europe. Cheap. Tons of character and interesting. Not as easily walkable like Vienna since it used to be 3 different cities but still very doable. Mostly we noticed hardly any tourists compared to Vienna and Prague and we saw all 3 within a span of less than 2 weeks (so very similar time frames).

Im living in Prague for the moment, Budapest has been a couple of years, but I believe the costs of living are pretty similar. You can get a night for somewhere between 10-20 euros, depending on standards. Food is not that expensive, let's say 10 euros for a meal and beer is dirt cheap (1,40-2,00 for 0.5l, cocktails are around 3-4 euros).
